This is a thriller/horror drama that aired from November 5th to December 11th,2021. It stars the actress Han Hyo Joo who plays Yoon Sae Bom, a member of the Special Operations Unit. This role was very suited for the actress, and considering that I am also watching her in'' Dong-Yi''. It is very fascinating to see how much she has grown in the field. I did watch W but I think that this one made a more lasting impression. I loved how independent Sae Bom was, and the fact that she didn't always need to be saved was nice. The male lead is the actor Park Hyung Sik who plays Jung Yi Hyun, a detective who has been friends with Sae Bom for a long time. I think Park Hyung Sik is a really talented actor and it's interesting that the dramas I've seen him in were from 2015-2018 (Hwarang and DBS) and yet he made such an impression on me that I had to watch this drama, he was a necessary calm among all the chaos.

The fact that this was both their first project since a long break was interesting.

This was definitely worth the watch.

I was skeptical (as I always am) because of how many episodes they were, but I think that kind of elevated the whole drama, we got to see characters develop ( mostly get worse tbh) but it felt nicely paced, and not rushed.

It was interesting to see the main couple interact with each other. I honestly think that if they were truly married from the beginning, it wouldn’t have been that much different. I loved how effortless the chemistry they had was. No awkwardness or anything.

I’m on two sides about the ending.

From the beginning, I kinda prepared myself for one of the main two to die, and then when we thought he did I was kinda shocked. The manner in which he did was so weird. Like we were so close to the finish line and then this small thing that we kinda forgot about ended up being the thing that killed him, and I don’t know if I’m slow but I assumed that it wasn’t so easy to kill infected people so when he got shot I was like yeah okay he’ll be fine and I was also confused as to why Sae Beom cut herself to lure Andrew. When she started crying and holding Hyun in her arms I was like ‘ oh, he actually died?’ And then not even 5 minutes later he’s alive. I feel like the whole last scene with Andrew was not needed and it would have been totally fine if he died on the roof.

I wish we got a little bit more insight on what exactly happened after Hyun was shot, and it would’ve been nice if the last scene was prolonged so we could see each character's ending. My main issues with the drama are the things we never got. I also wish they didn’t mention covid. There were quite a number of things that made me fault the show but I think the storyline and characters were really good. The suspense, the acting, the twists?? Like I wholeheartedly believed that Andrew would end up being a valuable player for the good side, I also liked the scenes where the title was in the shot, and the shot would be anything but happy. I actually really liked how ironic the title was.

I love a show that can be so bloody and dark but yet so light and heartfelt. It’s like the perfect pairing. I liked how we got to delve into the lives of every tenant that was involved in the show, like I’ve said before, I love big casts, and this one delivered so well.

I would recommend this.

Rating: 8/10
