My September Recommendations

This is a little out of the ordinary but i thought it was time to start something new.

Going through time is never easy, these are some of the songs and shows that helped me pass it.

Very nicely produced. A different sound.

Lifts my spirits.

Relate to this song a lot.

• Male fantasy - Billie Eilish

A really good song to showcase her vocals. Lyrics. Love singing along for some reason.

• Waving through a window - Ben Platt and Dear Evan Hansen Choir

Also love singing along.

• Exile - Taylor Swift ft. Bon Iver

Been listening to folklore a lot lately.

Good production.

Shows

• Midnight Mass

• The haunting of Bly Manor

• The haunting of Hill House

The shows above were all created by Mike Flanagan and I must say, he has a way of producing horror shows that somehow feel like they’re not. I mean of course it is, I actually don’t deal well with horror but these ones just made me sad. His storytelling abilities are amazing. I think the haunting of Bly Manor showcased it best. The shows start off so calm but then so many things happen that when you finish the whole show you piece it all together and are even in more awe. He makes it so that rewatching it will feel like watching with new lenses. I would love to do a deep dive on each show.

• Sex Education

I loved the character developments this season.

I would love to say this will be a monthly thing. But I know myself too much.
