A short review of k-drama; Cheese in the trap

Overall, the whole series wasn’t bad, if you can ignore the fact that the second male had more screen time than the main male lead, also we all know how the second male is likeable, but in this series I was actually rooting for him even though I knew he wouldn't end up with her. I'm not one to judge the choices people choose to make, but I feel like the female lead was a bit too naïve, the relationship between her and the main male felt too forced, the chemistry was hardly there and you could see that she clearly had more fun with In-ho. Jeong was not a good guy, not like your normal bad boy with good hearts, no he was just really bad. And Seol was way too ignorant, after seeing what really happened between him and In-ho, although In-ho had his faults, I believe Jeong had some responsibility in what happened to him, he probably was the one that reported the boys, and he could have stopped them before things got worse, I think that scene showed us his true colors, although the writers did try to show us he had his reasons/misconceptions, there’s no excuse. I found myself rooting for In-ho throughout the whole series, he had such good chemistry with Seol, and he was always there for her, even though he could be a little bit too extra lol, like the time when they kept on trying to get videos of Yeong-gon harassing Seol and how he kept on interrupting. I wish we got more Eun-taek and Bora moments because we waited for so long. The way the series ended was a bit too cryptic, and some stories did not seem to have an ending, like Seol mentioning A-yeong going to America, does that mean she breaks up with Ju? Did they even start dating to begin with? We'll never know, did Seol end up with Jeong? Probably, but it would have been nice to see how it played out. Overall, I liked the series, I watched it in two days and i really connected with Seol, because we go through similar struggles, being really shy, trying really hard for good grades, trying to please everyone, and having misconceptions of people. I would give it a 8/10.
